Information handling
This page contains details on how the Healthcare Commission manages and handles information, including our publication scheme.
The Healthcare Commission has developed the information handling handbook (below) as a guide to its processes for the handling of information required either by law or for best practice. The processes are constructed around the work commonly undertaken by Heatlhcare Commission staff. The handbook covers information handling requirements throughout the lifecycle of a record, from receipt/creation to archiving and/or destruction. It also tells you how to implement the Commission's information classification scheme.
